A nice surrounding area in Allissos, Achaia, with an existing old building of 50 sq. m., with excellent prospects. What was requested from our company is to make a functional addition of 50 sq. m., so that this space can become sustainable for a family.
The design approach was to keep all the good static parts of the old house and make additions with American standards. Thus, the architectural approach was influenced by the American houses on the east coast, which are literally in the woods.
The interior architecture combined harmoniously with the exterior, creating the “in & out effect” with the very large openings, gives the feeling that you live in the forest, since the large and many trees are part of the architectural approach.
The wooden roof gives the feeling of warmth in the space, as well as the feeling of the warmth of the wooden house with the gable roof and the interior architectural lighting in every eye of the wooden beams.
